Now that the leaves have fallen, we can enjoy the fields and stone walls that grace our New England town of Woodstock. The warm November weather has given us gardeners extra time for yard and garden clean-up. An unusually dry fall has us praying for rain, and watering our plants, especially ones that are still “rooting in” – getting established. But the shorter days give us time to plan next year’s garden and yard projects, and to look forward to the holiday season! We are almost finished planning for next spring – bringing in and growing the newest plant varieties. Visit the nursery after Thanksgiving to buy locally-grown potted and cut Christmas trees, wreaths, swags, arrangments and more. And don’t forget holiday gift certificates! We are thankful for all of you who shop local during the year, and wish you a blessed holiday season.
