Cooler nights with bright clear days mean Fall is upon us here in New England. Planting season continues for perennial flowers, trees and shrubs, while we plan to bring in tender tropicals and dig dahlia tubers to store for next year. In our own yard, we have had a tremendous peach crop from our Redhaven and Blushing Star peach trees, to the point that we have frozen what we need and are able to bless friends and family with delicious peaches. The pruning and occasional spraying have been worth it! Meanwhile, our annuals and late perennials are still blooming their hearts out along our house and stone wall. We hope that you enjoy the colors and scents of Fall, as you pause and take time to enjoy the beauty of our changing seasons.
