Our Guarantee

We guarantee that our plants are healthy and true-to-name at time of purchase. If a nursery plant* purchased here does not survive the first year after purchase, we will refund 50% of the cost of the plant if the following criteria are met:

– dated cash register receipt and original tag are provided;

– proof of plant condition is provided;

– Sprucedale Gardens management determines that it has had reasonable and adequate care;

– it was planted in the ground within a week after purchase;

– death of the plant was not caused by any of the following occurrences after purchase: an “act of God” (insect or disease damage or weather conditions/events); physical damage, such as from equipment, vehicles, human activity, or animals; exposure to harmful chemicals.

Due to the breakable nature of statuary, garden accents, garden benches, pottery, and gazing globes, all sales of these items are final. Please carefully inspect each item for any defects prior to purchase.

*living Christmas trees, perennials, nursery plants overwintered in containers, annuals and hanging baskets are not covered under this guarantee.
